For current IBEW 876 Members, getting on our Out-of-Work Books is a simple and straightforward process.
To be placed on the books, please send an email to dispatcher@ibewlocal876.org with the following information:

First and Last Name

Last 4 digits of your Social Security Number

A brief message requesting to be placed "on the books"
If this is your first time returning to the books after a layoff/termination, it's helpful to attach a copy of your termination slip, if available. This helps us process your request more quickly.
Once your request is processed, our Dispatcher will reply to notify you that the request is complete.

To streamline the referral process, Local 876 uses the JNCTN digital credential platform. Before signing the books, travelers must submit the required credentials through the JNCTN app.
The entire process can be completed from your phone in just a few minutes.
Before You Begin
Please have the following items read:

Step 1 : Download the JNCTN App
Download the JNCTN application from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
What is JNCTN?
JNCTN is a secure digital credential platform used by IBEW Local 876 to verify traveler credentials and simplify the sign-in process.
Step 2 : Create Your Account
Open the JNCTN app and create an account.
You will be asked to provide:

Password
Once your account is created, proceed to the next step.
Step 3 : Connect with IBEW Local 876
From the main wallet screen, select:
"Received a Share Code?"
Enter the Local 876 traveler link:

Step 4 : Review Required Credentials
After connecting to IBEW Local 876, you will see the credential request screen.
Local 876 requires:

Letter of Introduction
A current (within 30 days) Letter of Introduction issued by your home local. -
Dues Ticket
Current proof that your dues are paid and in good standing -
Driver's License
A valid government-issued driver's license -
Phone Number
Current contact information
Step 5 : Upload Your Credentials
Select each requirement and upload the requested document.

Step 6 : Submit Your Request
When all requirements show as completed, select:
Complete Remaining Requirements
Your information will immediately be sent to Local 876 for review.
Step 7 : Hall Review
Once submitted:

Any missing information will be requested

Approved travelers are placed on the appropriate referral book
