Fact: You pay no fees of any kind to become a union contractor.
As a union contractor, you agree to a contract, the terms of which are the result of negotiations between IBEW Local 876 and representatives of the area electrical contractors association. There are no costs involved for you.

SHORT TERM COMMITMENTS
At IBEW, we understand that committing to a long-term union membership may not be feasible for every contractor. That's why we offer short-term contracts that allow contractors to assess the IBEW for as little as 6 months, without committing to a longer-term union membership.
